Pop of Leopard

 

 So if you haven't noticed by now, I am a lover of denim jeans. I wear them all the time and have way too many pairs. I especially love distressed denim, I don't know why but they are my absolute favorite. I remember my dad used to always make fun of me and say "you paid for jeans that are all ripped up?" why yes, yes I did :) Anyway I had an older pair and I decided to destroy them myself which was really fun and easy. I used a cheese grater and the little saws from a pumpkin carving kit ( I know sounds really weird) and was pleased with how it turned out. I decided to dress them up a bit with a loose black blouse and add a pop of leopard with my shoes and bag. I hope you are all having a nice day and thanks for stopping by!

Happy Monday! I hope you are all having a nice start to your day. This was a look I wore yesterday. The weather took a turn from warm and sunny to cloudy and rainy which I was actually happy about. I love warm weather but we haven't had too much rain this winter and I absolutely love when it's super cloudy and rainy. I decided to bust out this cute jacket I got for Christmas. I really like this jacket because it is very versatile, you can dress it up or down. I was feeling like a casual outfit so I just paired it with some gray skinnies and flat boots. I already have a couple other outfits in mind that would look nice with this jacket so I can't wait to try those out.

Favorite Hair Care Products

 

 

 

Hi guys! I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. Sorry for the lack of posts lately. I'm hoping to get some new pictures very soon. In the meantime I thought I would share my favorite hair care products that I am loving right now. I get all mine from Ulta. They usually always have some type of deal/discount going on for these products so I would definitely check them out!

 

Matrix Sleek Shampoo- I have been using Matrix Sleek shampoo for a little over a month now and I absolutely LOVE this stuff. It makes my hair super soft and less frizzy which is exactly what I need.

 

 

Matrix Color Care Conditioner- I used to always use the same line for shampoo and conditioner but lately I have been switching it up. I still wanted to stick with Matrix but I decided to give the Color Care conditioner a try since I had recently dyed my hair darker. This is a really great conditioner, it detangles my hair nicely, helps preserve the color and smells really good.

 

 

 Redken Satinwear 02- This is a product I have been using for years. I have tried others but always come back to this one. Satinwear is a blow drying lotion that helps protect your hair from the heat and cuts your blow drying time. I put this in my hair after I get out of the shower before I blow dry and boy does it make a difference. First of all I have really thick hair and it takes me forever to dry it, but this stuff helps it dry so much faster. I really like that it protects your hair from the heat because I feel so many of us can overlook that and cause real damage from using so many hot tools. Lastly it makes your hair soooo soft which is probably my favorite part about this product, I mean who doesn't want soft and silky hair?

 

Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum- This is another product that I have been using forever. You can use this two ways, on dry or wet hair. I usually take a small amount and mix it with the satinwear before I blow dry my hair. It helps control frizz and leaves hair soft and shiny. I will also put a small amount at the ends of my hair once it is all styled to help give it a little moisture and tame down any fly aways. Oh and did I mention that is smells amazing!

Bomber Jacket

 

 

I hope you are all enjoying your Monday and doing something fun! I think the hubby and I are going to go do some shopping, yay! I wanted to post this look I wore the other day while running errands around town. I have always loved bomber jackets. I feel they add a cool vibe to anything you are wearing without trying too hard. Happy Valentines Day!

 

 

 

 

 

Happy Valentines Day! I hope you are all having a wonderful day celebrating all those you love. My hubby let me sleep in this morning while he took care of Silas and spoiled me with chocolates and flowers, needless to say I am one happy lady :) This is an outfit I put together that I thought would be perfect for Valentines Day. It is festive and girly which I love. 

I would like to say a quick thank you to all those who take the time to read my blog and follow me on instagram. I am just starting out on this new venture and am learning along the way. I'd also like to thank you all for the sweet comments that many of you write me, it really does mean the world to me. I received my first not so nice comment the other day and I would be lying if I said that it didn't hurt my feelings. I know it comes with the territory of putting yourself out there for people to criticize you, I guess I just wasn't ready for it yet haha. I have the best sister who sent me funny memes to make me laugh about it all which is great because in the end that's really all you can do right?
